Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Operations Coordinator (Front Desk) to be based in the Ocean Export Team. In this role, the successful candidate will act as key contact for allocated accounts, organizing and managing end-to-end operations to ensure the smooth facilitation and processing of Customers shipments within prescribed SOP & time frames. Analyzing, reviewing, and preparing routing shipments for timely and efficient execution as per country regulations and internal procedures.

     

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Act as primary contact for allocated Customers & liaise directly on operational matters for the allocated accounts
  • Accepts orders (Customers / Network Station) and executes various functions and procedures of documentation as per agreed SLA
  • Maintain Customer focus on all times, take ownership on Customer queries, complaints and proactively follow up all through the resolution.
  • Proactively keep Customers / Channel partners informed on shipment status, exceptions and provide intermediate updates on incident solution.
  • Ascertain if shipment requires special handling and regulatory compliance due to characteristics of cargo.
  • Ensure profitability of each shipment are intact by keeping focus on meeting required service level.
  • Constantly review operational process with Carriers and to ensure best practices.
  • Develop excellent relationship with Customers, Channel partners & Vendors (E.g. Port Authority, Carriers and Internal/External stakeholders).
  • Ensure continuous improvement within the area of Operations and share best practices.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
 

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

   
  • Up to three years of Experience in Freight & Logistics (Preferably on Operations & Customer service)
  • Diploma or Graduate in any discipline (Preferably supply chain)
  • Communication Skills.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) proficiency
  • Knowledge on carriers and routes
  • Problem-solving abilities
