Area Manager

Oversees the day-to-day activity of the assigned boutique location by supervising employees, monitoring financial activity and providing direction in accordance with Al Zain standards. In addition, he/she will be developing business strategies to expand boutiques traffic and optimize profitability. Key responsibilities: • Set sales targets and implement strategy to achieve the agreed sales targets. • Drive the sales of High-end VIP sales through the bespoke service and high-end category. • Meet with VIP customers on an ADHOC basis. • Implement measures to evaluate individual and team sales performance. • Identify training need and implement training in order to develop a sales team well versed in the art of luxury sales. • Input into the merchandise planning of products across boutiques. • Liaise with VM Manager to set up a visually appealing layout and space plan for the boutiques. • Manage the sales teams through training, coaching and communication in order to achieve the highest customer service levels. • Implement strategy with the boutique managers in order to achieve the agreed financial objectives. • Succession planning for the boutiques. • Engage with the boutique managers & sales teams through regular meetings. • Attend planning meetings with Sales Director and report back on the business trade. • Assess the market demand and analyze internal and external data to determine sales trends of the business, recommend actions to improve. • Clearly report and communicate objectives, achievements and actions to improve monthly to the senior management. • Grow and Develop the wholesale business into new markets and partners. • Identify and close Business to Business partnerships to grow the brand awareness and sales. • Execute corporate directives/special projects as required. • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs with Sales Director. • Travel to other regions to evaluate the Boutiques and stock movement as required. • Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements and liaise with merchandise department to ensure availability of merchandise across boutiques and conduct inventory analysis to determine optimal stock levels and the correct category ratios. • Providing factual and quality feedback to Sales Director on requirements and merchandise feedback that is aimed at increasing sales. • Manage the monthly spend of the boutiques to ensure the profitability is met.

Educational Qualifications: BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field. Experience: Proven successful retail experience as a manager in luxury market. Must be able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week.
