Assistant Trader

  • Ability to develop a large portfolio of Suppliers and buyers.
  • Must understand logistics and documentary requirements
  • Have a deep understanding of product specs and quality
  • Capable of resolving the dispute with buyers and sellers
  • Maintaining monthly M2M
  • Must have market knowledge of product traded
  • Should be willing to travel (required to travel a minimum every 2 months)
  • Should be proactive in participating in trade fairs and conferences
  • Should avoid speculations on trades (calculated & documented risk will be permitted)
  • Positio0n requires good understanding and strategy on counterparty default risk avoidance

  • A strong and dedicated mindset to achieve sales goals as laid down by the management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation skills need to be of the highest caliber
  • Sales Planning should be meticulous with a detailed understanding of business and markets
  • Build Relationships so as to have a long-term impact on the organization and deeper penetration into customer needs.
  • Manage Processes as per country laws and the company rules and regulations.
  • Deep and thorough Market Knowledge of the products dealt in by the company as well as the applicability to the region and local markets
  • Should be more conversant with technology while doing sales and marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and market information.
