Specification Manager

The Specification Manager is responsible for developing and managing product specifications for porcelain tiles. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working closely with clients, architects, and designers to meet their requirements.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and Maintain Specifications: Create and maintain detailed product specifications for all porcelain tile products, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Product Development: Assist in the development of new products by providing input on material selection, design, and performance criteria.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all specifications, testing results, and compliance certifications.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to sales and marketing teams to ensure they understand product specifications and can effectively communicate them to clients.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure the company’s products remain competitive.
  • Project Management: Manage specification projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.



Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the porcelain tiles or related industry.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of porcelain tiles, including manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
