WELDERS REQUIREMENT SUMMARY:

- The individual shall have Minimum 5 years of experience in various welding processes.

- Capable to read blueprints/drawings and interpret welding requirements.

- Capable to read and interpret welding procedures.

- Capable to produce Fillet, PJP, CJP & 6G quality welds on various metals like carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steels.

- Capable to weld “TIG, GTAW, SMAW, SAW & FCAW “process on piping and structural steels.

Skills

• Shall have sound technical knowledge in materials, welding & gouging processes, NDE inspection processes and general construction activities.
• Should be able to qualify third party welding qualification test in 6G position.
• Must have the knowledge of English speaking and writing (as all our procedures and forms in English).
• Read and interpret weld process according to AWS and ASME section IX.
• Proficient in structural/vessel tack weld for fitting, MIG/FCAW/TIG/SAW/SMAW welding, burners, and similar equipment.
• Having sound knowledge of fabrication processes and principles (Welding, cutting, pressing, gas/plasma cutting works, fit up work etc.).
• Expertise knowledge in tools required for welding and gouging.
• Solid blueprint interpretation skills and well versed with engineering drawings of Hydraulic Workover Unit Structures, hydraulic power pack skid, mud pump skids, enclosures, mud systems, pressure vessels, piping and process.
• Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
