Purchase Officer/Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Officer/Coordinator to manage our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in purchasing, with an advantage for those with a background in import and export.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and agreements.

- Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.

- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.

- Handle documentation and processes related to import and export activities.

- Stay updated on market trends and identify new suppliers and products.

- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues related to shipments.

Skills

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Purchase Officer, Procurement Manager, or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.

- Advantageous to have experience in import and export operations.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
