Job Duties:

Installation:

• Site Assessment: Evaluating sites for solar panel installation to ensure they receive adequate sunlight and are structurally sound.
• Mounting Systems: Installing mounting systems for solar panels on rooftops or other structures.
• Electrical Work: Connecting solar panels to the electrical grid, including wiring and configuring inverters and controllers.
• System Testing: Ensuring the system is properly installed and functioning by conducting tests and inspections.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Routine Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks, such as cleaning panels, checking for damage, and ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing issues with solar energy systems and determining the appropriate repairs.
• Component Replacement: Replacing faulty or worn-out parts, such as inverters, wiring, and panels.

Skills

Technical Knowledge:

• Understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with solar panel installation techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to solar installations.

Physical Ability:

• Capability to work on rooftops and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
