MEP Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and Design:
  • Develop detailed drawings for MEP systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Prepare layouts, sketches, and plans for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems based on specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with MEP engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify design requirements.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., structural, architectural) to ensure integration of MEP systems.
  1. Documentation:
  • Maintain and update project drawings and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for permits, approvals, and construction.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings.
  1. Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to project teams during the design and construction phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MEP drawings and designs.
