The General Manager oversees and aligns business strategies. This role ensures consistent, profitable growth in revenues and profits through strategic planning, forecasting, and formulation of operational policies to deliver on objectives within the Gulf markets.

Description
Manage the P&L for the respective markets.Portfolio Management across therapeutic categories and respective marketsStakeholder ManagementRevise and present business plans and market forecasts for the respective markets.Coordinate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of the approved business plan.Carefully select and manage the proper business partners and approve selected teams that will work in each market.People Management, including retention and talent development.Foster a positive and inclusive company culture to drive engagement and performance.


Profile
20+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in sales and marketing.Graduate Degree in business Administration or related disciplines is preferred.Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical business across different markets.Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in previous experiences.Strong knowledge of project management, and certification is a plus.Demonstrated proficiency at leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-faceted sales functions.Excellent analytical skills, including problem-solving/structuring, prioritisation, and quantitative abilities.Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry in general and the environmental forces that shape current business dynamics.Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to work with senior executives, work with and through them.Demonstrated flexibility in situational management in applying a mix of opportunistic, medium to long-term approach.The customer/consumer-centric approach is an essential requirement.
