What you will do
- Plan, analyse and develop in consultation with Executive Vice President – Business Development sales strategies and actions in order to secure new/ additional business and enhance market share
- Produce his required target of insurance business from the designated areas in order to achieve or exceed the assigned premium target
- Review and monitor the due Premiums payment status in order to actively follow up timely collection of the outstanding premiums
- Collect and collate business and market conditions related information and prepare reports and formulate appropriate recommendations for Management Information and Decision Making in order to counter competition and increase the company’s market share of the business
- Service clients introduced directly by the Job holder as well as clients of Branch and Development Officers in a prompt and courteous manner in order to ensure efficient service and client satisfaction
- Identify and recruit in consultation with Executive Vice President – Business Development, highly motivated and experienced field sales staff and agents in order to effectively cover and exploit the market for generating business revenues
- Promote the growth of the insurance business by establishing and maintaining close liaison with Brokers and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability

What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Commerce/Science / Arts / Business Administration)
- Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute, London or equivalent
- Proven experience in insurance or a related industry in UAE or insurance experience within the GCC countries
- 8-10 years experience in a progressive organization (Including 4-5 years in a senior managerial position)
- General Insurance with particular emphasis on Marine, Hull & Cargo, Non Marine, Motor, Life & Medical
