Construction Project Director - Mega Project

  • Chair meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, technical experts, etc. to resolve any design/budget/technical issues that might derail the project delivery.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Foster strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including government bodies, contractors, and consultants.
  • Oversees project timeframes and project budgets, and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges and mitigations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensures the successful delivery of the project in line with all stakeholders’ expectations communicating strategies to the wider client/ consultant/contractor team.
  • Implement robust quality assurance and control measures to guarantee the highest standards in construction and engineering.
  • Monitor project finances, including budget allocations, expenditure, and financial reporting. Implement cost saving measures without compromising project integrity and quality.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions in complex and dynamic project environments.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be a plus
