We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment alteration, repair, and customization, and will be able to provide high-quality craftsmanship to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including suits, dresses, pants, and shirts, according to client specifications.
• Repair and mend garments with precision, including stitching, patching, and resizing.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for alterations and customizations.
• Measure clients accurately and ensure the fit and finish of altered garments meet high standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and tailoring techniques to offer clients modern and stylish solutions.
• Handle special requests and custom orders with attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role within the fashion or garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, alteration techniques, and fabric types.
• Excellent sewing skills and proficiency with industrial sewing machines and tools.
• Ability to work with different fabrics and materials, including delicate and high-end materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and alterations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in tailoring or fashion design.
• Experience with bespoke tailoring and custom garment creation.
