Our client is a leading equipment distribution group with a significant presence in Middle East and Africa. We are currently looking for an experienced Group Tax Manager to join its Dubai office.



Our client is a recognised leader in distributing equipment across Middle East and Africa. With a successful history of over 20 years, this stable group has operations in 9+ countries with over 200 employees boosting a multicultural environment.

As a Group Tax Manager, you will be the key point of contact for all tax matters and work as an individual contributor while closely partnering with external tax advisors, finance country heads and the Group CFO.

Description
Responsible for overseeing the organization's tax strategies and ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.Managing tax risks and ensure that all tax-related obligations are met efficiently and accurately.Tax Management: Oversee and mitigate tax exposure, ensuring adherence to tax laws and minimizing penalties. Develop and implement effective tax control procedures. Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax returns.Advisory & Reporting: Serve as the primary contact for local and regional tax matters. Provide essential support and manage relationships with external tax authorities and consultants. Offer internal tax advisory services and assist with business operations.Strategic Planning: Assist in forecasting tax expenses and advise on tax deductibility of expenditures. Ensure proper documentation for intercompany transactions and manage tax risk across the Group.


Profile
Qualified CA or CPA is preferredMinimum of 8 years of experience in International TaxationA BIG 4 background is desired, followed by a relevant experience in the industry (required)A hands-on experience with or exposure to African tax environments is strictly mandatory (excluding South Africa), particularly related to African tax management and managing relationships and compliance with local tax authorities.
