Events Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute events according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Develop event plans and timelines, ensuring that all logistical aspects of the event are covered.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure all event needs are met, including catering, audiovisual equipment, and other services.
  • Staff Management:
  • Supervise and manage event staff, including coordinators, security, and support teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring progress and providing assistance as needed.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
