Overview of the role:
Highly organized and detail-oriented Product Information Manager to oversee the management of our product information and digital assets. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, consistent, and up-to-date product data is available for our ecommerce platform and other channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large datasets, implementing PIM and DAM systems, and leading teams of translators and copywriters.
What you will do: -
Description of Accountability:
- PIM System Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of the PIM system to efficiently manage product information, attributes, and hierarchies.
- Product Information Management: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product information across all channels, including ecommerce.
- Translation Management: Lead a team of translators to deliver high-quality translations of product information in multiple languages.
- Digital Asset Management: Manage the DAM system, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of digital assets.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with solution providers, define requirements, and enforce training and best practices.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of translators and copywriters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, SLA, and delivery timelines. Optimize workload and leverage AI to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve product information processes and workflows.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure product information needs are met.

Required Skills to be successful:
- Excellent English skills (speaking, writing and reading). Arabic would be an advantage

What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital photography, Advertising, Illustration, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ecommerce with hands on core SEO & Merchandising
- Proven experience in product information management, including PIM and DAM system implementation.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce requirements and product information standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of multiple product categories and related terminology.
- Experience with AI-powered tools for content creation and optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
