Chief Commercial Officer

•To oversee the development and implementation of commercial strategies to accelerate revenue growth and profitability, including sale of event/venue tickets, direct B2B, B2C and Government sales, partnerships and sponsorships. To be performed in regular collaboration with other Units, particularly Strategy and Venues

•Support and coach the Executive Director of Sales to ensure financial targets are met. Ensure the use of innovative tools, trackers, systems to manage actual vs. budget performance, while collaborating with Strategy to gain and utilize insights and market intelligence.

•Support and coach the Executive Director of Sales to ensure all Sales and Partnerships team members are meeting their individual targets. Ensure regular meetings are taking place with clients and potential partners – and effective account management is in place. Oversee the ticketing systems and operations.

•Support and coach the Executive Director of Marketing to build a market leading brand, supported by agile, efficient, and effective social media deployment, digital marketing and content, and PR

•Ultimately responsible for ensuring positive collaboration between Sales and other Units

Skills

•15+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development roles, with a focus on major event experience

•Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

•Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

•Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset.
