Job Summary:

The Branch Supervisor manages branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager, ensuring productivity and profitability. They will lead the staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and resolve customer issues while maintaining service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Operations:

  • Manage branch operations independently when needed.
  • Ensure the branch meets or exceeds performance and sales goals.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and authorize high-value transactions.
  • Oversee remittance and payroll transactions.
  • Monitor transaction volumes and ensure revenue goals are on track.
  • Implement corrective actions for performance dips.
  • Lead the team in achieving branch sales and marketing targets.


Customer Service:

  • Act as the point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Ensure customers are treated with respect and provided excellent service.
  • Protect customer data privacy and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.


People Management:

  • Supervise staff, providing leadership and coaching.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Conduct briefings and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure proper staff training and adherence to internal processes.


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of branch and individual revenue goals.
  • Compliance with regulatory standards and documentation.
  • High customer satisfaction and low complaint rates.
  • Accurate reconciliation of cash and transaction records.



Skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial sector.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AML, CFT, and financial regulations.
