Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Facilities Management company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial, accounting, banking, and fiscal operations under the guidance of the Director of Finance.
- Supervise daily and periodic finance processes, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), inventory, cash & bank management, and payroll reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings and reporting in alignment with the agreed schedule.
- Oversee the preparation of weekly cash flow statements and monthly cost allocation reports.
- Assist the CFO and Executive Directors with the preparation of the annual budget.
- Implement the approved budget, including any adjustments, and ensure proper posting to the system.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against the budget and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Review the financial performance of all contracts on a monthly basis, analyzing actual performance against the budget and identifying any variances.
- Guarantee adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and local laws and regulations related to finance.
- Lead and manage a team of accountants responsible for all facility and property management accounting activities.
Requirements- 7-10 years of proven experience in financial management within similar industry.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent.
- Strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in using SAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in facility management, including knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CAFM.
- Fluency in Arabic will be an advantage
