DHL Global Forwarding UAE has an opening for a Junior Controller - Intern where you will administer processes and activities for financial reporting, planning, analysis and management in line with business objectives, Group standards, accounting principles and regulations. In this Junior Controller - Intern position
- You will support in regional month-end reporting activities including submission of estimates, conducting quality checks & performance analysis, reviewing quality of forecasts.
- You will provide inputs as required for supporting the needs of financial reporting, planning, analysis, and risk management in a timely and accurate manner.
- You will conduct analysis as required for preparation and evaluation of statements necessary for budget control and monthly budgeting reporting and financial presentations.
- You will support in establishing and performing monthly Customer / Sales Controlling activities as a collaboration with Product & Sales.
- You will conduct analysis, systematic checks of the file opening / management: use of work items; application of tariffs; use of product codes etc. that have impact on profitability & profit sharing.
- You will perform tasks / interactions that mostly address immediate financial planning issues (e.g. producing and validating data and numbers).
- You will participate in studies for new products and projects.
- You will support to achieve adherence to accounting policies, programs, and systems to implement financial planning processes.
- You will provide general financial admin support to Finance team for specific business area(s).
- You will resolve guidelines repeated issues as per standards and guidelines.
- You will explain facts, policies and practices related to job area.
- You will support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function.
- You will develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- 2 years’ experience or less
