Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with Conveyor Belt Installation: Help in the installation and setup of conveyor belt systems under senior technician supervision.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks on conveyor belts, ensuring smooth operation. Report any issues to senior staff.
  3. Troubleshoot Minor Issues: Identify and fix basic problems, such as alignment issues, motor malfunctions, or belt slippage.
  4. Component Replacement: Assist in the replacement of conveyor belt components such as rollers, belts, and bearings.
  5. Inspect Systems Regularly: Conduct routine inspections of conveyor systems to identify wear, tear, or potential malfunctions.
  6. Lubrication and Cleaning: Ensure the conveyor belt and its components are clean and lubricated for optimal performance.
  7. Support Senior Technicians: Provide hands-on assistance to senior technicians during complex repairs or installations.
  8. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working on or around conveyor systems to prevent accidents.
  9. Adhere to Schedules: Work within set maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to production.



Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use basic tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, and multimeters.
  • Good problem-solving skills for troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Willingness to learn from senior technicians.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
