Pricing
- Thoroughly review the RFQ to understand the scope, specifications, and deadlines.
- Research current market rates and competitors' pricing strategies and determine a competitive yet profitable pricing structure.
- Analyse feedback trends to identify areas for improvement or adjustment in pricing strategies.
- Maintain open communication with Sales, Pricing Desk, and Operations teams to align on pricing strategies.
RFQ
- Coordinate with the Pricing Desk/Tender Desk to ensure RFQs are attended to promptly.
- Share major updates from the Aerospace vertical received from HQ or different account owners with MESA offices.
- For tenders originating from the UAE, Initiate the scoring process. Alert the tender desk. Monitor progress until submission. Follow up with customers for feedback after submission.
Business Development
- Gather comprehensive feedback to identify areas for improvement and discuss customer feedback with the pricing desk.
- Focus on developing existing accounts and nurturing future prospects.
- Prioritize and complete all assignments from the reporting manager before deadlines.
Operations
- Provide optimal solutions to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Provide daily updates and reports to the department manager.
- Effectively manage operations, ensure customer satisfaction through timely escalations handling and solutions provision, maintain accurate reporting, and foster collaboration across teams for streamlined performance tracking and improvement.
- Brainstorm solutions together as a team to address identified challenges. Encourage input from team members and consider different perspectives.
- Develop action plans to implement improvements in processes, communication, or service delivery.
Skills
Candidates need to have prior experience in Freight forwarding companies.
