Business Development Executive

Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive will be responsible for 3PL business and Air freight to ensure that the volume and revenue targets are achieved at the best rates. 



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Responsible for Product Sales, Marketing and Business development of 3PL and Air Freight, Sea freight business

2. Ensure a diverse mix of customer base.

3. Ensuring rates are quoted to the customer within stipulated time and meet targets through quick follow up & conversion.

4. Compile and monitor approved company sales budgets, market share, marketing plans for different Trade Lanes/ Services.

5. Drive Contract Logistics, warehousing & transport opportunities through active canvassing & lead sharing.

6. Report on budget performance / variance on a weekly basis.

7. Reporting on trade development and competition activities.

8. Expansion of the customer spread and new customer creation.

9. Ensure a minimum of 4 meetings each day & conversion of minimum 1 customer each month.

10.Credit evaluation of customers and ensure collections/ no bad debts.

11.Business promotion with existing customers and implement Sales promotion initiatives.
