The General Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the organization in Dubai, UAE. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring that the company meets its financial and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
  3. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to maximize profitability.
  4. Lead and mentor senior management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  6. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all business operations.
  8. Drive innovation and change management initiatives to enhance business processes.
  9. Prepare and present reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders.
  10. Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive role.
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  5. Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
  6. Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  7. Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  8. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Skills

  • 10 years + experience in Museum, Cultural Heritage is a must
