Summary

Technical Analyst is responsible for analysing business requirements and recommending appropriate applications and technology. The candidate will have expertise and deep experience in designing data flow charts and technical flow diagrams. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the finance/banking sector and will be responsible for designing our company's applications and changes to these applications, such that they are scalable and secure. The role requires someone who is passionate about technology, has strong problem-solving skills, and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Major Responsibilities

• Interpret functional analyses (as designed by functional analyst) and translate them into technical requirements ready for implementation by developers.
• Hands-on experience and expertise with creating technical diagrams and flow charts using Microsoft Visio. Follow up on implemented solutions by gathering feedback and manage the systems being used.
• Assist all business partners to analyse changes in requirements and provide enhancements to applications.
• Evaluate and recommend system upgrades, software installations and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that backend systems are aligned with product goals.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
• Utilize previous experience in the finance sector or domain to help shape and improve our company's financial software solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of technical data analysis, database management, network infrastructure & system security.
• Comprehensive knowledge of APIs, Microservices, SOA, Middleware, and digital channels
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Visio
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Previous experience working in the financial or banking sector.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in similar role for at least 5 years
• Financial & Banking industry experience is preferred.
