POSITION SUMMARY:

Marketing Officers will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote the products and services of the College. The Business Development aspect of the role requires proactively and systematically pursuing and adding new partners and new business opportunities.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Attend exhibitions, campaigns, conferences, and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, find potential new businesses, and promote and market the organization’s solutions.
  2. Execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
  3. Generate leads from private and public high school visits.
  4. Visit schools and education events in the region to promote business and attract students.
  5. Support students with the required admissions documents
  6. Use email and other electronic marketing techniques to inform customers of new products and generate sales.
  7. Act as liaisons between the media, suppliers, and clients
  8. Focus on both business growth and client retention.
  9. Attend exhibitions, campaigns, conferences, and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, find potential new businesses, and promote and market the organization’s solutions.
  10. Collect students’ surveys.
  11. Create Training Proposals and Offers.
  12. Assist the Manager of Marketing in developing new ideas for reaching end-user markets using the resources and technology available.
  13. Attending to customers’ queries and providing appropriate solutions.
  14. Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
  15. Counsel prospective students and conduct campus tours.
  16. Consistently meet recruitment targets.
  17. Work towards deadlines and due dates to achieve targets.
  18. Coordinate marketing promotional events and exhibitions.

Coordinate meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; creating and managing mailing lists.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  1. Goal-oriented and highly ethical
  2. Knowledge of HE sectors or target audience.
  3. Expertise in MS Office, CRM, and ERP
  4. Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment and to cope with pressure positively while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment.
  5. Must be accurate and pay close attention to detail.
  6. Good written and verbal communication skills

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years work experience in a similar position.


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or management is required.
