Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Safety Officer / Inspector (Fixed term 8 Months) at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
HSE Inspector:
- Implement and continually improve safety management systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO audits and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in the development of risk assessments, EIA assessments, and COSHH assessments.
- Arrange personal protective equipment and safety equipment as required.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, service providers, internal departments, and investors on HSE matters.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled HSE inspections, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant parties.
- Perform HSE assessments such as ergonomic assessments and noise assessments.
- Provide relevant HSE training programs.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and assist in the implementation of preventive measures.
- Record and report all accidents and incidents appropriately.
- Manage contractors and maintenance companies to ensure safe operations and activities.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture among staff, contractors, and investors
- Identify and assess unsafe acts and conditions, and report them to the HSE Manager.
- Liaise with all concerned departments, contractors, and partners on a daily basis regarding HSE matters
- Review risk assessments and method statements submitted by contractors and other departments, and update the HSE Manager accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with the permit-to-work system.
- Deliver HSE trainings to contractors, staff, and investors, including induction training, toolbox talk training, and other HSE trainings.
- Manage the inventory of HSE assets.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Regulations
- Incident Investigation and Reporting
- Safety Inspections and Audits
- Must possess NEBOSH International General Certificate in OHS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in role, preferably in leisure and entertainment industry.
Food Safety Officer
- Implementation and continual improvement of safety management systems
- Health and Safety of workforce
- ISO audits and documentation, as per company policy
- Ensure adherence to GV HSE Management and Food Safety System
- Coordinating with contractors, consultants, service providers, GV Departments and investors regarding HSE matters.
- Carries out scheduled and unscheduled HSE and Food Safety inspections, prepares reports and communicates corresponding reports to action owners.
- Providing HSE and Food Safety training programs.
- Ensures that any accidents and incidents are recorded and reported in an appropriate manner
- Handles all the contractors and maintenance companies for Safe operations and activities.
- Carries out HSE and Food Safety audits and reports accordingly.
- Identifying, assessing unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and reporting them to HSE Manager
About you:

- Level 4 Certification in Food Safety Management.
- Any Degree or Master in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biological sincere.
- Minimum 1 year experience in role, preferably in leisure and entertainment industry.
