DHL Global Forwarding UAE has an opening for a Pricing Specialist - Intern where you will administer pricing plans and processes to understand customer needs, determine appropriate pricing and enhance competitive position in line with business plans and objectives, Group guidelines and policies. In this Pricing Specialist - Intern position
- You will administer proposal development and commercial/pricing programs to understand customer needs, determine appropriate pricing and enhance competitive position.
- You will support preparation of commercial/pricing proposals consistent with pricing policies and standards.
- You will receive standard commercial/pricing requests and draft responses.
- You will understand the usage and apply commercial/pricing tools, procedures and databases.
- You will perform routine research and gather data/ information has required for administrative activities.
- You will draft management reports and presentations for both existing and prospective customers.
- You will generate reports on pricing requests with maintaining data quality.
- You will prepare documentation of price proposals and facilitate communication as per standards.
- You will support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy.
- You will support in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner.
- You will administer tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations.
- You will maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries.
- You will answer queries, prepare information for customers to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention

- Must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- 1 – 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
