F&B (RESTAURANT) EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!!!!!!
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IN DUBAI
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and present monthly quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including inventory management and cost of goods sold.
- Oversee the preparation of VAT Filing and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Manage the accounts payable, including vendor payments.
- To ensure ERP is used in the proper manner and as per best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll records and oversee the payroll process.
- Train and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Respond to all queries related to financial matters.
- Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets.
- Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, such as inventories, prepaid deposits, and sub-tenant receivables; reconciles subsystem with General Ledger.
- Responsible to prepare cash flow on a fortnightly basis to ensure the funds.
- Preparation of MIS report to monitor the efficiency of performance.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- ACCA/CA/CPA designation is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
- Proficiency with ERP i.e., Odoo Enterprise and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
- - Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within the initial training period after the employee begins work.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary 4000-7000k According to Experience
