Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, financial discrepancies, and manage the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient funds for operational needs.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and reducing costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and systems to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Stay updated on changes in local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or a similar role, ideally in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and UAE tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal); fluency in Arabic is a plus.
