Posh Properties, a leading provider of luxury vacation rentals, is currently looking for an experienced General Manager for Dubai to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a solid commitment to excellence.


As the General Manager overseeing our rental properties in Dubai, you will report to the VP of Operations. Your primary responsibilities will include the daily supervision and management of properties and staff, ensuring the smooth operations and performance of multiple establishments within your designated area. You will be tasked with implementing and creating effective procedures and SOPs, learning the Dubai market to identify the best deals, and establishing strong supplier relationships. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, all while adhering to Dubai’s laws, regulations, and high standards. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional service, maintain high-quality standards, and meet financial targets.

  • Market Exploration: Actively explore the Dubai market to identify the best deals, create a comprehensive supplier list, and establish key contacts to support the company’s operations.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  • SOPs and KPIs Development: Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tailored to the Dubai market, ensuring operational excellence and consistency.
  • Housekeeping Management: Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of all rental properties between guest stays, complying with Dubai's strict hygiene standards.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee maintenance staff to manage repairs and setups for properties, ensuring all work complies with Dubai's regulatory requirements.
  • Exterior Management Services: Create and manage a calendar for garbage and recycling days, along with unit deliveries.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all properties adhere to our established quality standards, in line with Dubai’s luxury market expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Work with the head office to maintain sufficient cleaning and guest supplies inventory, managing property amenities in compliance with Dubai’s regulations.
  • Training and Development: Train and coach new team members to uphold service excellence, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Scheduling: Stay on top of scheduling for cleaning, turnovers, project launches, and guest check-ins and check-outs, working closely with the VP of Construction, Director of Operations, and Project Manager to ensure all timelines are met effectively.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and verify compliance with cleaning standards, ensuring adherence to Dubai’s safety regulations.
  • Property Launches: Manage the launch of new properties in your area, ensuring alignment with directives from designers, the Director of Operations, and the Project Manager, and adherence to timelines.
  • General Operations: Coordinate property visits for potential clients, manage the delivery of supplies and services, and address any guest concerns in coordination with the Guest Experience Department.
  • Support: Supervise the team, be available to receive and coordinate items and furniture, manage emergencies, assist with tasks, and physically relocate lightweight items to set up properties correctly.
  • Guest Services: Facilitate communication with the Guest Experience team regarding guest experiences, damage resolutions, and satisfaction follow-ups.
  • Monitor Guest Feedback and Reviews: Monitor guest feedback and reviews, address concerns promptly, and implement measures to enhance the customer experience, ensuring properties maintain high cleanliness levels, safety, and compliance with Dubai’s regulatory standards.
