As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, acquire new corporate clients, negotiate contracts, and expand the agency's client base. Your goal will be to promote the agency's services and value proposition, ensuring continued growth and success.


Key Result Areas:

Identifying and Pursuing New Business Opportunities:

Actively seek and identify potential clients and business opportunities in the travel industry. Conduct market research, analyze competitor activity, and understand customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.


Acquiring New Corporate Clients:

Prospect, pitch, and close deals with new corporate clients by building relationships, understanding client requirements, and presenting tailored travel solutions that meet their needs.


Negotiating Contracts:

Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with the Company’s objectives and financial targets.


Expanding the Agency’s Client Base:

Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging marketing channels to promote the agency’s services.


Overall, the Business Development Manager role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of the company. Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the travel industry, specifically within the corporate sector. Experience managing corporate clients and travel accounts is a must.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of corporate travel management, policies, and trends.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
