• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Streamline accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and forecasts
• Coordinate and liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions
• Lead the budgeting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and financial systems
• Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making
• Involvement in managing legal, administrative and HR questions when needed
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Business correspondence with suppliers and clients

Skills

• Excellent (Spoken & Written) communication in English (Russian is a plus)
• 3+ years of UAE experience
• Bachelor's degree holder with a proven track record of academic or work experience in the Finance sector.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in partnership management and inter-department coordination.
• A keen eye for minute details coupled with an instant ability to make sound decisions.
• Presenting an in-depth analysis of the company's financial statements through concise reports.
• Work experience in FirstBit (1C)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Attention to details, diligence, responsibility, initiative and good analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
