Job Summary:
D U A Travel and Tourism seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the travel industry, excellent customer service skills, and prior experience in sales. You will be responsible for helping clients plan, book, and manage their travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and tours. This role requires a high level of organization, communication, and the ability to close sales while ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in planning and booking travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Provide expert advice on travel destinations, tours, and packages.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and offer suitable travel solutions.
- Identify client needs and suggest additional services (insurance, transfers, activities, etc.).
- Manage bookings, reservations, and payments using the company’s travel booking systems.
- Stay updated with travel industry trends, destination knowledge, and travel regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by offering customized travel packages.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on sales and customer service.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of global destinations, airline ticketing, and travel packages.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre) and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, etc.) is advantageous.
- Visa Status: Preference will be given to candidates with valid UAE residency. We are also open to renewing visas for exceptional candidates.
