We are seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage architectural aspects of new build projects. In this role, you will coordinate with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and executed effectively. You will be responsible for developing and managing architectural drawings and documentation using CAD software, providing technical support during the construction phase, and ensuring all documentation and drawings meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination: Liaise with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and execution of project requirements.
- Architectural Documentation: Develop and manage architectural drawings and documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance during the construction phase, including issue Requests for Information (RFIs), reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Office Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant architectural tools.
Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical support.
