Formulation Development
Research & Testing
- Conduct stability, efficacy, and compatibility testing of formulations.
- Research and evaluate new ingredients, technologies, and market trends.
- Perform tests to ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards (e.g., stability tests, pH tests, viscosity, and sensory analysis).
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure formulations comply with local and international cosmetic regulations
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, packaging, production, and quality assurance to ensure product feasibility and market alignment.
- Support scale-up and production processes by providing technical input to manufacturing teams.
Quality Control
- Provide technical support for resolving production issues and quality concerns related to formulations.
- Assist in the transfer of products from R&D to full-scale production.
Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.
Experience in skincare, haircare, or makeup formulation is an advantage.
