Role Description:

Hemnet Properties, a leading real estate company in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have extensive expertise in real estate accounting within the UAE, proficiency in the Bitrix software system, and experience managing developer commission tracking. This role requires a strong understanding of UAE accounting regulations, financial reporting, and compliance, along with the ability to provide financial insights for decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

• Record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain the integrity of recorded financial data.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations, including tax filings and financial reporting requirements.

• Track and reconcile developer commissions in line with internal procedures.

• Maintain financial records and data integrity within the Bitrix system.

• Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making processes.

• Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare budgets, and assist with forecasts.

• Stay updated on real estate accounting trends and best practices to enhance financial operations.

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate accounting within the UAE (real estate experience is mandatory).

• Proficiency in Bitrix system and financial software operations.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

• Strong understanding of UAE real estate accounting principles and compliance requirements (AML, WPS, DLD, RERA).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in handling real estate compliance and administrative tasks.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and updates in accounting standards.
