Overview of the role:

As a member of Automotive Finance team, the incumbent needs to support the Management in: 

  • Driving IT strategic roadmap from the finance perspective for the UAE and Overseas Automotive operations.
  • Implement best Business Processes in an ERP environment by designing appropriate solutions supporting the customers' business processes as part of the overall ERP program.
  • Provide support and project manage the end-to-end life cycle management whilst partnering with IT teams.

Skills

What you will do:

SAP Org Structure

  • Assisting business in Preparation of complete SAP Org Structure for IS Auto Migration
  • Providing training of SAP Org elements and standard AFG org structure details to business super users
  •  

Chart of Accounts

  • Assisting business in Preparation & finalization of SAP Chart of Accounts for ERP implementation projects
  • Providing training & explanation to Business to understand AFG General ledger accounts and Financial Statement items
  • Mapping of existing GLs & FS items to AFG Standard GLs and FS items
  • Ensuring Standardization of Entity Chart of Accounts with AFG Chart of Accounts
  •  

Project Steering

  • Part of Project Steering Committee
  • Track project status & ensure timely completion of Project phases
  • Supporting in critical decision making
  •  

Existing Process Advisory & New Process Review

  • Advice functionality of existing systems, business policies & SOP to other entities migrating to IS Auto system
  • Review new processes developed as part of the implementation to ensure correct reflection of the same in financial statements
  • Ensure standard AFG systems & processes across all entities globally
  • Roll out of best business practices to entities coming on SAP IS Auto platform & non-SAP based companies (system upgrades)
  •  

Data Migration

  • Share past migration experiences with business and assist business in finalization of migration strategy
  • Support in mock data migration activities
  • Highlight risk areas and fixes required to ensure smooth final data migration
  • Support in final data migration activities
  • Support in post migration
  • Provide trainings & support to business superusers throughout the project Journey
  •  

Critical IT Enhancements & Roll outs: 

  • New Business Models
  • Automotive Change Management
  • System Advisory
  • Finance Digitalization

Required Skills to be successful:

  • SAP or ERP Savvy system 
  • Professional Accounting qualification 
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in support ERP / SAP processes or retail support experience 
  • Good communications skills 

 

About the Team:

  • You will be reporting to Financial Controller P&C

 

What equips you for the role:

  • Professional accounting Qualification – CA/ACCA or equivalent
  • A degree in Information Systems/Project Management related discipline would be preferred 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience with at least 2 years of support of SAP /other ERP processes or retail support experience. 
  • Experience of working in the Automotive / retail industries will be preferred.
