Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the establishment and provide a warm, welcoming environment.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring all cash is managed accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets to customers.
- Maintain an understanding of store products, current promotions, and sales.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving any concerns.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
- Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining overall store appearance when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
