Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure a positive customer experience by providing friendly and attentive service and will assist in maintaining the store's operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers entering the establishment and provide a warm, welcoming environment.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring all cash is managed accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets to customers.
  • Maintain an understanding of store products, current promotions, and sales.
  • Assist customers by providing information and resolving any concerns.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
  • Assist with restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining overall store appearance when needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with handling cash and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate your teamwork skills by cooperating with team members and supervisors to tackle customer concerns, resolve challenges, and enhance the overall store environment as a Cashier.
