About the role


As a remotely working Procurement & Purchase Manager at Ask Global, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of our international purchases worldwide to the Middle East. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies to support our goals.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to secure the best products at competitive prices
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance
  • Oversee the procurement process, from identifying requirements to processing purchase orders and managing inventory levels
  • Analyse purchasing data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with broader business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations

Skills

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the industrial engineering sector
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of procurement-related software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
