The Cashier/Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by managing payment transactions, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests. This dual-role position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashiering Duties:

1. Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods, using a POS system.
2. Provide receipts, handle refunds, and manage change as required.
3. Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
4. Assist customers with billing inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.

Waiter/Waitress Duties:

1. Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
2. Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
3. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring any special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
4. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
5. Monitor tables for additional service needs, such as refilling drinks or clearing plates.

Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or waiter/waitress role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills:
