the Interior Design Manager works closely in overseeing the design and execution of luxury real-estate interior spaces. They are responsible for developing interior design strategies, guiding design processes, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. They will collaborate closely with other departments to integrate interior design concepts seamlessly into overall project designs while also ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Design Excellence:
· Lead the development of interior design concepts, plans, and presentations that meet or exceed client expectations.
· Ensure that interior designs are innovative, functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with brand objectives.
· Review and provide feedback on technical interior design drawings, specifications, and materials selections to ensure accuracy and quality.
Project Management:
· Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of luxury interior design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
· Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address design challenges and ensure client satisfaction.
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working for a reputable internation interior design consultancy
- Previous experience on luxury hospitality or high-end residential developments in the Middle East
- Proven track record of successful project delivery, with experience leading interior design teams from concept through to execution
- Strong technical design sensibility and proficiency in interior design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be result oriented, ensuring operational excellence in areas of responsibility to deliver best results
