Job Title: General Mechanic for German and European Cars
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled General Mechanic specializing in German and European cars to join our team. As a General Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles primarily from German and European manufacturers. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and that vehicles leave our shop in optimal condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics to identify issues with German and European car systems and components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Execute complex repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to pinpoint and resolve mechanical and electronic issues.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and time required for services.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficiency and safety.
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques relevant to German and European car maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold our reputation for quality workmanship.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in German and European cars.
- Certification from a vocational school or relevant certification (e.g., ASE) preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components specific to German and European cars.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
