The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service. This role involves route planning, vehicle maintenance checks, and adhering to safety regulations during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations:
- Deliver packages, goods, or materials to customers or designated locations within the scheduled timeframe.
- Verify delivery details, including addresses and package contents, before departing.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Route Planning:
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS or other tools.
- Adapt to route changes due to traffic or weather conditions.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, brakes, and tire pressure, to ensure safe operation.
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods safely to prevent damage.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, and mileage.
- Complete any required paperwork or electronic logs for each delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience:
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or similar role is an advantage.
- Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.

- Strong navigation and route-planning abilities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
