Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team at a Montessori nursery in Dubai. As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the lead teacher in creating and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for children. You will help implement Montessori-based educational activities, guide children in their development, and provide individual support to ensure their growth in all areas of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing Montessori curriculum and educational activities.
- Support children in their daily routines and activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Change children's diapers as needed and support in toileting routines.
- Provide individual or small group support to children, particularly those who need extra assistance.
- Assist with classroom organization, cleanliness, and preparation of teaching materials.
- Help monitor and document children’s progress and development.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s development and well-being.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful atmosphere in the classroom.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or Montessori education is preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a Montessori setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt and work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
SALARY 2000aed to 2500 aed
working hour monday to friday 8 am to 6 pm
