DGF UAE has an opening for Credit Controller. You will have to administer Accounting Governance and Internal Controls processes and activities to timely generate quality accounting information, to meet reporting requirements and achieve compliance to accounting practices in line with accounting principles, financial policies, controlling guidelines, Group standards and legal requirements

In this Credit Controller role, you will:
- Administer Accounting Governance processes and activities
- Administer design and definition of Internal Control frameworks as well as Internal Control Systems (ICS)
- Coordinate definition and implementation of accounting policies and standards
- Perform Accounting Governance activities with a focus on delivery of own service to required accounting standards and targets
- Identify and resolve recurring issues as per set guidelines, else escalate for resolution
- Respond to basic queries and questions on reporting tasks and requirements
- Mainly Corporate Roles:
- Support to monitor and analyze developments in international financial reporting (IFRS)
- Support Group-wide projects for the implementation of new or amended IFRS standards
- Administer standards for IFRS accounting topics (e.g., impairment tests) and support to implement them in Group-relevant accounting systems, processes and controls to mitigate accounting risks and ensure transparency
- Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function
- Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge
- Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others
