Charterhouse is proudly partnered with a foreign bank in Doha who are looking to appoint a new Treasurer to head up their country branch. The bank is well-positioned within Doha and have an onshore license and have ambitious growth plans moving forwards.

About the Role

The Country Treasurer will take ownership of the Treasury function for the branch and oversee the ALM and Balance Sheet Management, Treasury Dealing and Operational functions within the Treasury Function. Having an onshore license, the bank works very closely with the QCB and this role will work in close tandem to the regulator on a weekly basis. The role will also work very closely with the risk function of the branch, ensuring the treasury function follow risk parameters across various aspects of the balance sheet.

About you
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have at least 10+ years’ experience within a banking treasury function. The ideal candidate will have exposure to ALM & BSM, Treasury Dealing and Sales and Operations within Qatar. Additionally, having a strong relationship with QCB and other counterparties in the Qatar Banking space will be beneficial to this role.
