What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Business Growth: Strategically grow the general insurance portfolio by identifying high-value prospects, securing new clients, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers across diverse industries.
  • Expand Market Presence: Leverage your network within free zones and the larger UAE market to secure partnerships with large corporate clients. Develop a reputation for offering effective and innovative solutions.
  • Lead with Expertise: Stay connected to industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of general insurance underwriting guidelines to provide technically sound advice and solutions.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client service, from crafting proposals to policy issuance and beyond.
  • Keep it Compliant: Adhere to all regulatory standards while promoting ethical practices in every interaction.
  • Be Passionate and Sales-Driven: Demonstrate enthusiasm for business development and a drive to exceed targets, contributing to the exponential growth of the company.


Skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 7–10 years in business development, with at least 3 years focused on general insurance in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. A professional insurance qualification (e.g., CII, ACII) is a plus.
  • Industry Network: Strong connections with corporate clients, free zones, and key decision-makers in the UAE insurance market.
  • Proven Success: A history of exceeding sales targets, securing major accounts, and driving market growth.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with leadership qualities to inspire and mentor others.
