Commercial Manager

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy covering all revenue streams, including Rooms, F&B, and Leisure, aligning with Hilton’s Commercial Focus process.
    • Drive the hotel's top-line revenue and profitability in line with TGOP and EBITDA targets.
  2. Revenue Optimization:
    • Ensure revenue management strategies are in place and effectively executed for rooms, meeting spaces, outlets, and other revenue-generating areas.
    • Maximize pricing strategies to achieve an optimal business mix during different demand periods.
  3. Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Partner with various teams including Revenue Management, Sales, Catering and Events, Marketing, and eCommerce, ensuring alignment and execution of the commercial strategy.
    • Collaborate with the F&B Manager, Operations Manager, GM, and F&B-related commercial activities.
    • Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team, setting KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and Hilton’s regional and matrix support teams to drive commercial success.
    • Present commercial strategies and performance to the VP of Operations and regional leadership teams.
  5. Market & Trend Analysis:
    • Stay updated on market trends and adjust strategies proactively to leverage evolving conditions.
    • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the leisure market, particularly within the UAE.
  6. Brand & Marketing Alignment:
    • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and corporate identity.
    • Support on-property and regional marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and revenue.

What are we looking for?

·         Experience in hospitality/travel industry roles focused on revenue generation or commercial services.

·        Expertise in the UAE leisure market.

·         Proven ability to present sales plans and strategies to senior executives.

·         Extensive experience working in collaborative, matrixed environments.

·         Strong financial acumen with experience analysing departmental financial data to drive strategic decisions.

·         Strong leadership skills

Skills & Attributes:

  • Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Russian or German is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Adept at identifying and leveraging business opportunities.
  • Proficient in market analysis and strategic planning.

Preferred Experience:

  • With multi-complex hotel or travel industry role.
  • Knowledge across Marketing, E-commerce, and Finance disciplines.
  • Local language proficiency is an asset.
