Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to serve as a Events Manager for our Dubai office. This multifaceted role requires someone with exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients while supporting the Managing Director in daily operations.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and establish connections with potential clients in the GCC region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.

Personal Assistant to the Managing Director:

  • Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents as required.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on tasks and deadlines.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.

Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Track account progress, manage deliverables, and maintain detailed client records.
  • Upsell and cross-sell services to maximize client value and revenue growth.


Skills

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years in business development, personal assistance, or account management roles, preferably in the GCC region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
