  • General Manage an international touring musical in its pre-production and weekly operating phase including but not limited to tasks such as tracking budget spend, scheduling, casting, set and costume build overview, cast and crew contracting, travel and accommodation coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and manage the tour budget and track all associated spend. Ability to forecast financial position
  • Understanding of ticketing and royalty structures
  • Oversee all technical aspects with the Technical and Production Manager (From build to operating)
  • Manage the casting and all cast contracting
  • Manage the rehearsal and tech period
  • Logistics and tour planning with respect to accommodation and travel booking for the company, visa, and work permit applications
  • Securing relevant insurances for the production
  • Generate presenter contracts and budgets
  • Daily liaison with local promoter and staff with respect to logistics, publicity and financial concerns, plus generation of applications for tax exemptions etc.
  • Facilitating marketing requirements, overseeing local promoter’s marketing plan.
  • Financial duties: generating weekly cheque run; invoices; reconciling accounting documents; tour management expenses; Company credit card.
  • Generate payroll document and organizing wages with the bank
  • Preparation of cash flow projections and cash positions plus weekly running statements in liaison with COO
  • Co-ordinating press calls with Marketing Manager
  • Touring Company liaison – contract negotiation, preparation and follow up.
  • Overseeing duties of Production Assistant if relevant, Company Management and touring company personnel
  • Liaison with production manager regarding physical production, freight/get-in and out schedules, crew contracts etc
  • Company/Tour management duties on the road if required
  • Reconciling theatre and presenter financials
  • Supervising and reconciliation of merchandise sales through external agent or venue
  • Reconciling tour – presenting to Management
  • Generate royalty statements, reporting to royalty participants
  • Taking notes and minutes at meetings as required
  • Ensuring FTP sites are updated and maintained accordingly
  • Managing and maintaining filing systems
  • Or any other duties as may be reasonably required to fulfil your duties in the role.
